Reuben Jones, the Principal of Diamond Bar High School, mentioned that this was the first time such a large-scale Mid-Autumn event was held on the campus, and it served as a fundraiser for the school's music program. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the strong support and collaboration of the Diamond Bar Chinese Association and the Diamond Bar Chinese School. Without their support, along with that of the community, Diamond Bar High School wouldn't shine as brightly as it does. The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday, and it was delightful to see so many students, parents, and community members in attendance on this day. In a school with a diverse student body, events like these further promote cultural integration among different ethnic groups. ![]() The Diamond Bar Moon Festival Carnival was held with great excitement. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Theresa Lee, President of the Diamond Bar Chinese Association, and Allen Ku (古紹崙), Vice President, for their strong support and coordination, which contributed significantly to the success of this event. He also thanked Dr. Chai Yu Teng, a candidate for Diamond Bar District Four Council, for his generous donation of $50,000 to the school's music program, which will be used to enhance the school's musical equipment. Dr. Chai Yu Teng stated, "Today, we are hosting this event not only to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival but also to hold a fundraiser for Diamond Bar High School. The high school needs funding for projects like building a recording center, and as local residents, we should actively support it. So, I'm willing to contribute actively, supporting the high school in providing better facilities, better music education, and music activities for the students." At the same time, Dr. Chai Yu Teng is actively involved in the Council Member election for the Fourth District. He mentioned that as a long-term resident of Diamond Bar, he hopes to use this opportunity to do more for the community and its residents. At seven o'clock in the evening, Diamond Bar High School students and local artists presented a culturally diverse performance to hundreds of attendees, receiving rounds of applause. Among them, the dance performance by Diamond Bar High School student Cheryl Ku was highly distinctive, reflecting the theme of the Mid-Autumn Festival with its ethnic charm. ![]() Cheryl Ku's graceful dance performance.
