![]() Organized by the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association (DBCAA) and co-hosted by the Diamond Bar Chinese School, and the Diamond Bar Chinese School Parent Association, the "2024 Diamond Bar Lunar New Year Carnival" has recently kicked off with much fanfare! Over 500 residents, students, parents, businesspersons, and community members from Diamond Bar attended the event, which was filled with colorful decorations, songs, and dances, creating an extraordinary atmosphere. The distinguished guests who attended the event included U.S. Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, representing California State Senators Bob Archuleta and Josh Newman, California Assemblywoman Lisa Calderon, Los Angeles County Supervisor Su Reyes, Diamond Bar Mayor Stan Liu, Vice Mayor, Council Members Luth Low, Andrew Chou, Walnut City Councilmember Eric Ching, Walnut Valley Water District Board Chair Theresa Lee, President of the North American Chinese Accountants Association Zhang Qing, Diamond Bar High School Principal David Hong, President of Hua Hsing Insurance Zhang Guoxing, School District Commissioner Hellen Hall, Chief Academic Officer Robert Taylor, former Mayor of Walnut Su Wang Xiu Lan, Chair of The Country Commission Charlie Zhang, CEO of Hua Mei Xin Chuang Wang Kangxi, and others. President of the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association (DBCAA) Gu Shaolun expressed great joy at the large turnout for our annual Lunar New Year Carnival, with approximately over 500 attendees. He also expressed deep gratitude to the sponsorship and support from the Chinese businesses and organizations in our community, including Adesso, AIG, ACG Funding, Eric Zhang CPA Firm, TACF, Hua Hsing Insurance, Jiaxin Financial, Immigration Pass, and Hyatt Regency, among more than 20 participating community businesses and organizations. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to the congresswoman, county supervisor, community leaders, and elected officials for taking the time to attend, support, and encourage. On the day of the event, President Gu Shaolun of the Diamond Bar Chinese American Association, on behalf of the association, donated $10,000 to Diamond Bar High School. Additionally, on behalf of Hua Mei Xin Chuang (Adesso Nonprofit Foundation), $10,000 was donated to the Chinese Association, and TRK Customs Service Inc. / Theresa Lee donated $6,000 to the Chinese Association. At the event, the nonprofit organization Adesso Nonprofit Foundation made its first public appearance. Adesso Nonprofit Foundation was established in Los Angeles by Taiwan's entrepreneurial model, Adesso Inc. Its main purpose is to integrate various local resources such as Chinese accountant associations, lawyers, physicians, banking and finance, construction, real estate, hotel and tourism industries, distribution channels, outstanding entrepreneurs, education scholars, and local governments to provide localized consultation and services for enterprises developing in the United States. Within the Adesso Nonprofit Foundation campus, office space, conference rooms, warehouse logistics, personnel recruitment, consulting or leasing services for channel development are available, assisting enterprises investing in the United States to become familiar with local laws, taxation, and brand channel operation models in the shortest time possible and quickly integrate into local life. |
