Chinese Association Garden Party Donates Again to Diamond Bar High School

The Diamond Bar Chinese Association (DBCAA) recently held a Lunar New Year Spring Festival Garden Party at Diamond Bar High School, where people from various places enjoyed food, sugar painting, games, and performances. Allen Ku, the president of the Chinese Association, once again donated to Diamond Bar High School for technology equipment updates.

The atmosphere at Diamond Bar High School during the event was festive and lively, with Chinese parents dressing their children in traditional Hanfu attire. Over 500 residents of Diamond Bar, students, parents, business and community members gathered together. Everyone enjoyed both the performances and the food.

As it was also the Lantern Festival that day, vendors provided traditional Taiwanese delicacies such as sausages, rice noodles, and fish ball soup, bringing joy to all. Crowds gathered at the sugar painting and balloon booths, with nearby resident Mrs. Liu stating that through the garden party, children could experience traditional Chinese culture and enhance their interest in learning Chinese.

President Allen Ku also donated $10,000 on behalf of the Adesso Nonprofit Foundation to the association and another $10,000 to Diamond Bar High School, continuing the tradition of supporting extracurricular activities at the high school. Ku expressed gratitude to the co-organizers, Diamond Bar Chinese School and the Chinese School Parent-Teacher Association. He was delighted to see so many people attending the annual garden party, with around 500 participants that day.

Ku introduced his recently established nonprofit organization, the Adesso Nonprofit Center. He explained that as a Taiwanese immigrant who started a business in the United States, he deeply understands the challenges immigrants face and their need for advice and connections. The Adesso Nonprofit Center aims to collaborate with local Chinese accountant associations, lawyers, doctors, real estate professionals, educators, and local governments in the United States to provide localized consulting and services for businesses seeking development in the country.
